About GailGail Caulfield is passionate about her work as a psychotherapist. Since 1995 she has been practicing Art Therapy and Psychotherapy to help people re-connect to their authentic selves. With her guidance they heal their, often traumatic, emotional injuries at their very root, which then transforms their current distressing symptoms. Both she and her clients are repeatedly awed by the wisdom and intelligence of the imagination in pointing the way to integration and well-being. Gail draws on her training in family systems, self psychology, contemporary psychoanalytic approaches, cognitive/behavioral therapy, Art Therapy, Mindfulness Meditation and EMDR. Her choice of approach depends on the best fit for each client. Her qualifications include:
Through personal experience and in her clinical work with individuals and families over the past fifteen years, she knows the deep pain and suffering that comes from growing up in unhappy families that didn’t know how to change. She has seen the effectiveness of Art Therapy, EMDR, and Mindfulness Training in reversing and transforming the debilitating side effects of unresolved traumas and early childhood attachment injuries. Gail finds great joy in guiding clients as they clear away the barriers on the pathways to inner wisdom, creativity, and well-being. As these internal connections grow stronger, they experience more fulfilling relationships in all areas of their lives, find more meaning and satisfaction in their work, and become more authentic human beings. |
